We curate the home-services directory editorially. Every listed business is reviewed by our editors against a fixed set of criteria. Here's how to apply.

Who we list

Our directory covers home-service businesses operating in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor across the following categories:

Plumbing → Electrical → Air conditioning → Pest control → Cleaning → Pool services →

We are also expanding into renovation, interior design, painting, locksmithing, defect inspection, aircon installation, and window grilles. If your business operates in a category not yet listed, you are welcome to submit early — we use applications to help prioritise which categories to launch next.

Editorial criteria

Every business considered for listing must clear the following baseline. These criteria are uniform across every category and every area we cover.

  1. Operational status

    You must be actively trading. We verify this through Google Business Profile, social media activity, and direct outreach.

  2. Minimum rating: 4.0★

    On Google Maps or comparable platform. We use the aggregate visible rating at time of editorial review.

  3. Minimum review volume: 10 verified reviews

    From real customers on a public platform. We discount review spikes that look inorganic.

  4. Service area: KL or Selangor

    You must operate primarily within the Klang Valley. We don't list businesses based in other states unless they have a verifiable Klang Valley branch.

  5. Verifiable contact details

    Working phone number, current address, and a business email address we can reach you at.

  6. Relevant licensing where applicable

    For regulated trades — SPAN for plumbing, Suruhanjaya Tenaga for electrical, Jabatan Pertanian for pest control, etc. — please be prepared to share your licence number on request.

How to apply

Please email us the items below. We aim to respond within five working days. Incomplete applications take longer to review.

  • Business name (as registered)
  • Primary service category (plumbing, electrical, aircond, pest control, cleaning, pool services, etc.)
  • Service area(s) covered within KL and Selangor
  • Business phone number and main contact person
  • Email address for editorial correspondence
  • Website URL (if any)
  • Google Maps business profile URL
  • Any relevant licence numbers (SPAN, Suruhanjaya Tenaga, Jabatan Pertanian, ROC/SSM, etc.)
  • A brief description of what makes your business worth featuring (200 words max)

What happens after you apply

  1. We acknowledge receipt within five working days.
  2. Our editors review your business against the criteria above — typically within 14 working days.
  3. If you clear the baseline, we add you to the relevant area page on our next publication cycle.
  4. If we cannot list you yet, we tell you why — usually a missing review threshold, an unverified contact detail, or a category we haven't launched yet — and we keep your application on file for the next review cycle.

A note on ranking

Inclusion in our directory does not guarantee a top-ranked position. Rankings within each city/category page are determined by our six-signal editorial methodology — covering rating, review volume, service breadth, coverage, listing completeness, and local relevance — applied uniformly across every business in the same category.
